Financial Statements
We prepare three financial statements for your practice: A monthly cash flow statement, income statement, and balance sheet. Each statement is used to monitor and forecast the financial health of your business.
Bank Reconciliation
Our team will reconcile your bank statement each month to verify your checkbook against the bank, and note any differences in the records of your cash transactions.
A bank reconciliation is necessary to avoid an overdrawn bank account, bounced checks, and overdraft fees. It’s also a precautionary step in fraud prevention. A monthly bank reconciliation is helpful to see if any customer checks have bounced, or if any checks you issued were altered or even stolen and cashed without your knowledge.
Practice Management Reconciliation
In addition to a monthly bank reconciliation, our team will also reconcile the receipts posted to your practice management system.
Business Comments
Each month, we provide you with written comments on the financial performance of your practice. Our accountants review your financial statements and then summarize the most important points. Clients tell us that our business comments are very valuable in helping them interpret the numbers and get clarity on what they need to focus on to be successful.
