Who’s your most important employee?
I’m not encouraging you to play favorites. But if you were starting a new practice today and could only take one employee with you, who would it be?
My guess is that you would choose your office manager.
A great office manager feels irreplaceable, don’t they!? Everything just runs smoother when they’re around.
They pay the bills. Collect payments. Schedule patients. Order supplies. Coordinate staffing. Heck, they even planned a surprise office party for your birthday!
Most of my clients fully trust their office manager to run the show.
But have you thought about what you’ll do when they leave?
Your office manager isn’t going to work with you forever.
Just in the last six months, I’ve seen three of my clients lose their office managers.
One retired. Another left for a better opportunity. And the third had to be let go.
Let’s face reality: One of these scenarios will happen to you too. It’s just a matter of time.
So what will you do when that time comes?
Will you be stuck thinking “now what?”
Or will you have a plan to move forward?
Practice management made simple.
